Full Speed Ahead!

Starting today, I am working full-time on 2040 Energy.

My last day as a corporate software developer was December 21. It’s a scary leap to go from a stable high-paying job to the unknown of a new venture, but I couldn’t be more excited.

Why am I doing this?

The simple answer is that clean-energy heating is a massive opportunity from both a business perspective and a climate perspective. I’ve always wanted to start a company (to be honest, this is my 3rd try). And most importantly, climate change is the greatest challenge facing humanity – solving it will require an absolute committment from everybody that can afford to make it.

And when I saw this Christmas tweet from clean-energy luminary Michael Liebreich, I knew I was making the right choice:

Word to the wise: if you know what the future needs to look like, put all your energy into building it. Don't wait for others to come up with the plan. Peace.
